Our good friends at Malmesbury staged an event this weekend at which occurred the inaugral CCCFC Blacks v CCCFC Whites game for this age group - luckily it ended goaless! Everyone played everyone else (2 teams from each club) - therefore we played 10 games in total (keeping up?). We managed to get through the morning only conceding one goal. Special mention has to go to Josh who dinked a fabulous chip over the keeper in the very first game to make a late well supported bid for goal of the season. Joe, Louie, Will and Archie also notched goals. Matty, Angus, Alex, Jude, Henry, Rory and Ben had fine games also.

The really special mention however goes to Dave Buckley of Malmesbury who had things running like a well oiled machine - getting all this football staged in little over an hour just before the rain kicked in. Thanks also to Derry Hill - all the boys and spectators joined in by playing in a great spirit.
