We all turned up on a glorious Saturday morning this week for our last 'league' game of the season. Our opponents were our good friends from Melksham.

The guys from Melksham had improved remarkably since our earlier fixture and (as they have all season) our lads had to concentrate all the time, battle hard and trust that their passing and movement would see them through. Doubles from Josh 'the hammer' and Will 'the machine' - who obviously stumbled across his shooting boots during the week whilst his mum was spring cleaning - added to the usual goals from Louie and Archie proved good reward from the team against worthy opponents who scored a few themselves.

We have one more game - a friendly at Calne - before the tournament season and then the team will split into 2 mixed ability teams making life a little more difficult next year but offering the opportunity for each of the boys to get more games under their belt.
