U9 Bradford Town 0 - 2 CCCFC Print
Season 09/10 - Under 9

Colts played Bradford Town on Saturday and 2 new signings were making their debuts. Heather lined up in defence alongside Josh B and both were kept busy in the opening period as the U9's struggled to get a foothold in the game. Jamie, came on for Jacob in the 7th minute and slotted into the rightside of Midfield but it was backs-to-the-wall stuff for the first 20 minutes, 0-0 at halftime. Assistant Manager Paul, made tactical changes which saw Alec revert to central midfield and Dan in the usual position of defender. Colts immediately kicked into gear and on 25', Dan's long pass to Charlie allowed him to set Jacob, however his through ball narrowly failed to get through to the onrushing Alec. 3 minutes later though, another defence-splitting pass from Dan found Charlie, who finished with style into the bottom corner. The Visitor's were buzzing now and in the 33rd minute, Alec found time and space in midfield  to arrow his long range shot into the top corner. Dan, Josh B and 'keeper Jimmy were defending brilliantly and kept their concentration to ensure Colts kept a clean sheet and ran out 2-0 winners. A battling first half display followed by a second half of great passing and movement straight off the training ground.

MoM.  Hard to seperate Josh B for his superb defensive display and Alec S, who showed fantastic commitment and work ethic in the centre of Midfield, capped with a tremendous individual goal.
