Match Result CCCFC 6 - Marshfield Juniors 3

Castle Combe started well in the 1st return league game of the season, going 3-0 up within the first 20 minutes through Kieran Hard 2 and Liam Wootten 1 -  Kieran then had the opportunity for a hatrick with a penalty after Callub Bell was pushed in the area. However Kieran pushed the spot kick wide.

An own goal by Marshfield gave Combe a 4 nil lead, however replacement keeper for Combe (Gareth) was cheekily lobbed to make the score 4-1 at the turn.

Combe seemed to slow down and struggled to keep the possession shown in the 1st half.  Goals by James Wyllie and Kieran (hatrick) Hard made it 6, but Marshfield showed good fightback to keep up the pressure and scored two late goals making the score 6-3 to Combe.
