AFC Corsham vs CCCFC

Combe were keen to get revenge for the first round league defeat against Corsham.  Combe were also fortunate to have David Stoyle (our  Sponsor) of City Estate Services at the match and make time for a team photograph.

Combe started off slowly, but then a goal against the run of play (cooly slotted in by Liam Wootten) seem to spur Combe on and soon futher goals by Gareth Jones (2) and Kieran Hard made it 4-0.

Corsham got one back and Combe replied immediately through Garth - getting his hatrick and making it 5-1 at the break.

Corsham continued to pressurise the Combe goal mouth but Combe were quick on the break and further goals by Liam (2 to make his hatrick) and Kieran made it 8-1. Corsham replied with a well taken free kick.

Solid defending and tight marking made the difference and the man of the match had to go to the team for a great all round effort.
