The form book was turned up on its head this morning as the colts suffered a surprising defeat to Lydiard. We were very lacklustre and there was a distinct lack of effort from some. I fear some felt this was a nailed on victory seeing as we defeated Lydiard 8-0 earlier in the season. As the guys found out to their cost there is no substitute for hard work, this was something Lydiard had plenty of in their locker today and they were rewarded with a winner in the last seconds, but for better decision making in the final 3rd and more composed finishing from the colts this would be a different match report, hopefully this will be a lesson learned. Our goals were scored by Dan & James.

Man of the match: not easy in the circumstances, but I felt CALLUM defended solidly and used the ball very well.
