This was another tough game as predicted - after we were weakened by holiday pull outs (inevitable at this time of year). We could probably have called for a postponement - having played every week of the season so far - but I am convinced that playing games at this level, even those in which we get beat, are great for improvement and learning & wanted to push on.

Max had a great game especially in the first half, but the stars of our team were in the backline. Jacob and Joe N did enough to even put Nathan in the shade with Joe clinching the MOM title with a determined display. Alex ran himself into the ground.

This will all stand us in good stead when we return to play 'normal' Div 1 opposition. KEEP THE FAITH GUYS AND KEEP YOUR HEADS UP.
