We played our last 'pre-season friendlies' at home against Corsham. The first game saw the Whites start like a whirlwind with Louie (2) and Will (2) opening the scoring. The guys were struggling to make their passes reach in the long wet grass (in both games) and that is something to work on, but we played some really fabulous football in a very entertaining game.

In the second game (Blacks) Archie notched a great goal and if it wasn't for a Casillas type performance from the Corsham keeper we would have scored many many more with Josh and Joe also going close. There was a fabulous defensive performance from Toby, and Rory showed his most improved player award last year was no flash in the pan.

After the game June/July's player of the month Archie presented the award to the winner for Aug/Sept - Louie. Likewise Henry passed on the trainer of the month trophy to Jayden. First league game next week.
