We were able to arrange a friendly at short notice with our friends from Melksham and arranged it as 3 mini games. It was always going to be a tough assignment against opponents from a higher division and so it proved.

Jasper (in goal) and Harry made thier debuts in the first game and showed what quick learners they are by making outstanding contributions - they'll do for us! Skipper Dan and Josh B ably supported by ever dependable Tom did a fantastic job in defence and never gave up in face of what was a bit of an onslaught. Josh F, Ben, Jacob and Charlie battled really well in midfield - the passing and performances improved as the games went on. Jamie worked across the line up front and tried to make the best of scant service. Plenty to work on when we resume training - but one thing that needs no work is the spirit and willingness to work hard. Well done everyone.
