Melksham got off to the perfect start when they scored after only 45 seconds with a fantastic shot from the corner of the penalty box. A second goal soon followed, after this the colts started to play the football we know they can with some good passing and movement. The colts were growing in confidence and kept the pressure on the Melksham defence but could not find a way of getting the ball into the Melksham net.
Unfortunately the colts were unable to keep the momentum going in the second half and Melksham added a third early on and it was after this goal that the colts heads started to drop and ultimately resulted in further goals.
The boys should keep their heads up, remain positive and look forward to the next game against Marshfield at home on the 6th Feb
