On a gorgeous Spring morning - the guys and gal of CCCFC tried so hard to emulate last weeks exemplary performance and came very close to doing so.

In a first half they dominated (down the slope) they had numerous chances to score but the ball would just not go in. Charlie , Jamie, Harry and Dan all came very close. Skipper for the day Heather showed great positional sense alongside Josh B to limit our opponents to just a few chances which Jasper dealt with in his usual no-nonsense way.There were several great passing moves the whole length of the pitch and we took our half time drinks in great anticipation of what was to come.

It just never happened in that second half and credit has to go to our opponents for that. Jacob and Josh F tried valiantly alongside the other midfielders to stem the tide and we would have succeeded were it not for two wicked bounces taking the ball beyond the unfortunate Jaz.
