THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT! On a gorgeous spring morning in the South Cotswolds the U8's played two tough competitive friendlies against our friends and neighbours from Malmesbury and enhanced their reputation along the way.

Blacks were up first - with Tom, Joe P and skipper Josh controlling the midfield, Archie was able to poach his customary brace with good close range finishes. Malmesbury were giving as good as they got and it needed a hard running impressive performance from Nick on the left wing for us to stay in control. In  the second half Josh really stepped up to the plate and fully deserved his goal from long range. Well done guys.

Whites were on in the second game. Will was absolutely everywhere in keeping his team on the front foot. Jack lashed the first into the corner, Louie netted two great goals and Jayden rounded off the scoring in the first half with a fine breakaway goal. Second half was a bit quieter - but Joe N had time and opportunity to net his debut goal though, to the delight of the travelling contingent. Zac was tremendous up and down the left wing and in goal.
