U10 Chippenham Town 0 v 0 CCCFC White Print
Season 10/11 - Under 10 White

The whites played away at Chippenham Town youth this morning. The boys were quickly on the front foot with the midfield trio of Matthew, James & Joshua soon dominating, but unfortunately were not able to create the goal we deserved. Eddie used his blistering pace on several occassions to un-nerve the home defence, one of which resulted in a great shot that the keeper did well to block, the rebound fell to Joshua who was unlucky not to apply the finishing touch. Joshua again went close with 2 fantastic headers from Matthew corners. Joseph and Tom replaced the largely untroubled defensive duo of Alex and Sebbie. In the second half it was fair to say that Chippenham Town started to gain more possession and were putting our defence under a bit more pressure, but they defended well and didn't allow any easy shooting opportunities for the Chippenham forwards. The whites still looked dangerous on the break, but just couldn't create any goal scoring chances. Unusually the game finished goal less, but was still very entertaining with both teams playing good competitive football. Well done to all.

Man of the Match - Joshua - great midfield performance, unlucky not to score.

Next game - Trowbridge Town away 10th April ko 10am
