The under-7s rounded off their Mid-Wilts League programme with the eagerly-awaited return fixture with a tough Trowbridge Town outfit.
There were plenty of similarities with November’s close contest between the sides in Trowbridge, with the visitors again showing their determination by again finding the net in injury time despite coming under pressure from the Colts throughout.
Trowbridge also opened the scoring but Colts responded in style with two first-half goals from the excellent Joe, the second a real cracker from distance that went in off the post. He was also denied by the woodwork, as was Matty S, while Matthew R, Max and Bradley were all inches away from finding the net as the chances came and went.
George and Josh grafted away to secure plenty of possession in another great team performance, while Luke again showed a cool head in defence and midfield.
