WHAT A SEASON! The final curtain came down on season 10/11 with a 4-1 loss but that does not tell the story of this game. The Blacks started the game on fire and deservedly took the lead when a Dan free kick found Josh F in the box, who slid the ball out to Charliewho was stood wide nearly on the goal-line. He couldn't score from there could he? Yes, he could! 1-0. Our visitors came more into the game but didn't really look like scoring until a shot rocketed off the post slammed straight into the face of an attacker rushing in ......and went in! 3 more goals went in before the end of the game and, although its fair to say we have enjoyed some good fortune over the season - I would have to say, we didn't have any today. The whole squad got good run outs today and did what they have done all season - they conducted themselves and played in a way that they, their parents, their teammates and the club can be very very proud of.
