Season 10/11 - Under 8 Blacks & Whites

All the guys recieved a very well earned trophy for the way they have represented themselves, their families and the club this year. The season was a very impressive one - bedding in 11 new players, creating a brand new team and improving on all aspects of play.

The lads have scored around 150 goals in 60 games........and also conceded around 120. We will be mostly working on defending after the summer break!

Every manager says this - but I really mean it - we could easily have given out 10 awards per team as the entire squad have done themselves proud. However we are only allowed 4.The main awards were given out as thus:

Whites

Clubman of the Year - we treated this as a second Most Improved Player of Year Award. This chap always gives 110% and is improving minute by minute in every game he plays. He also makes extraordinary faces when he sprints in training - Jayden C

Managers Special Award - an absolute role model in everything he does and the way he does it  - The Machine - Will K

Most Improved Player - astonishingly in his first year of football, this guy is brave, quick, whole hearted and skillful. Amazing goalie too - Zac B

Player of the Year - equally adept upfront or in goal. Technically excellent and never a moments worry for his coaches - Louie L

Blacks

Clubman of the Year - in previous years this lad was known for having 'a short attention span'. Something seemed to click just before xmas and the improvement is considerable. Always at training and always willing to play wherever you need him. Keep it up - Ollie C

Managers Special Award - another role model with a great attitude. Will play anywhere you need him and do it brilliantly - Josh G

Most Improved Player - another incredibly in his first season. More Terry Butcher than Rio Ferdinand (!) but a one man defence all the same - Toby O

Player of the Year - also equally adept upfront or in goal. 42 goals last year, 44 so far this. The improving attitude (keeping the lid on that will to win) was the clinching factor. Well done - Archie N
