As my memento to the team said  - WHAT A SEASON. The entire team were playing their first full season of football and simply got better and better every game. The entire team recieved a very well earned trophy for the way they have represented themselves, their families and the club this year. Take a bow Heather, Jasper, Harry, Charlie, Josh B, Josh F, Jacob (who is sadly leaving us - we will miss you Jacob), Jamie, Ben, Warwick and Dan.

Every manager says this - but I really mean it - I would have loved to have given one of the main awards to each and every one of them, they truly deserve it. However we are only allowed 4.The main awards were given out as thus:

Clubman of the Year - great attitude in training and a massive improvement over the year. He scored 4 very important goals including a double in our first ever win. A managers dream. The clubman of the year is.......Charlie N

Managers Special Award - our keeper sometimes resembled an octopus last season, when keeping the ball out of our net. There were several - how did he do that? - moments. One of the nicest kids I have ever had the pleasure to meet - my special award goes to........Jasper C

Most Improved Player - this is one guy who 'loves a tackle'. Brave as a lion, strong as an oxe- Josh B

Player of the Year - easy - captain, defender, midfielder, top scorer. Several long range strikes and seemingly even more times he rattled the woodwork. Well done Skip - Dan G
