The colts opened their season with a visit to Bishops Cannings. The first 15mins were very promising as we had plenty of possession, but against the run of play our hosts scored with their first shot at goal, the colts continued to push on and got a goal on the stroke of halftime when Jimmy played in Eddie who scored from a tight angle.

The colts started the second half on the front foot and started to play as a team, a run & shot from Joshua G made it 2-1, a terrific shot from Dan a few minutes later and the score was 3-1, a jinking run past several defenders and a cool finish got Eddie his 2nd goal and the colts their 4th.

Alex marshalled the defence well and Alec made a great save from a direct free kick late in the game.
