The guys had their first games of the new season this weekend - both away and with mixed results.

Blacks - in Jasons debut as manager, his charges did him proud. They rocketed to the top of the league with a 4-1 victory over Melksham Utd D. Rory and Nick led the way with a brace each but were ably supported by Billy (also making his debut), Ollie, Jude, Dan N, Josh W and Joe P. All this and we still have Dan S, Henry and Darryl to join the fray. Well done guys.

Whites - despite having the majority of posession and plenty of chances to score we could not put one over our bogey team Worton and Cheverell. We lost 2-1, but there were fantastic flashes of individual play including Joe N's goal, Archies brave goal saving tackle, Zac and Josh on the wing and Louie and Will through the middle. Alex and Jayden did great jobs at the back.

It was just a couple of silly mistakes that let our hosts in. These things need to be learned from - the team should go from strength to strength from here.
