Saturday the 23rd of September saw our 3rd match of the season. Despite being only one goal down at half time we went on to lose seven nil which was our first loss this season.
Everyone was still very proud of all the players as they continued to press hard right to the very end in true Castle Combe spirit and style, with all players showing bags of enthusiasm until the final whistle. A special mention has to go out to Daniel NÂ who stepped up to play in goal for the second half showing great courage and determination in what was an unfamiliar position.
Credit to Bradford who played well and the game was played in a good spirit as has come to be typical of our side this season. Our next competitive match is a cup game where I am sure the lads will be back 'ON IT'.
