The guys were determined to break their bogey against Worton. In 6 attempts they remained the only team that we had never beaten. This is because they are an excellent squad who actually have two mixed ability squads as good as each other! Worthy adversaries indeed. Well..........on this particular occasion we were able to lay that bogey in style!!!

• We gave absolutely nothing away in defence thanks to tigerish defending from Jayden, Alex, Josh and Tom.
• We gave no glimmers of hope with secure handling from our excellent keepers Archie and Zac
• We gave our opponents no room in midfield with committed displays from Will, Zac, Josh and Joe
• We were remorseless in attack with slick movement and finishing from Louie and Archie

The perfect performance?

Not quite - the passing wasnt as good as recent weeks. However -  we have been talking about determination in recent weeks in training, and this was displayed in bucketloads - personified by Louie chasing a ball into the corner, fighting for the ball and smashing it into the net.

We scored at regular intervals by adding a header from Zac, 2 great finishes from our skipper Will, and a one yard drive from Archie.

Really proud of my players this week - who move into second place in the league.
