U9 Whites - Trow Town A 4 CCCFC 2 Print
Season 11/12 - Under 9 Blacks & Whites

The guys came up against the team widely regarded as the best in the league and gave them a massive shock. No cup final this year, but our guys can feel very very proud of their attitude, commitment and performance in what was only our second defeat of the year.

Skipper Will came off his sick bed and, whilst he passed the armband to Josh for the day, led the team with mind blowing energy for someone who had been ill all week. This culminated in an exquisite headed goal from a corner which was the least he deserved. Josh carried on his run of fantastic form - starring in a number of positions and rounding things off with a 25 yard screamer which was the goal of the game. Zac, Jay and Louie gave the team and the coach absolutely everything they had. Archie, Tom, Toby and Joe battled away manfully against physically imposing opponents. Possession was at worst - even. Chances were the same - Trowbridge put away a higher proportion of thiers. This was partly down to the fact that they were clinical and partly due to some minor errors that we will look to cut out.

Well done lads - we now start to think about our big league game next week.
