The colts started this game sluggishly, must have been the early kick off. Corsham scored their first goal on 10mins when they reacted quicker to a loose ball after a terrific save from Jasper, not the start we were looking for, the half continued with the colts on the back foot. Corsham's 2nd goal was fine overhead effort direct from a corner. 2-0 at half time.

Paul's no nonsense, but highly motivational team talk at half time worked a treat as the colts started the 2nd half like a different team and soon found themselves camped in the Corsham half. Eddie scored our first goal when he burst through the defence and calmly slotted the ball into the corner, Dan went close with a terrific free kick that the keeper did well to keep out, the colts kept pushing forward and with 10mins remaining Eddie scored the equalising goal with a lovely lobbed finish over the keeper after good work by James. Alec very nearly nicked a winner, but his shot just cleared the bar. A great comeback and a much improved 2nd half performance notably from Tom, Joseph & Dan. Great support from the parents as usual.
