Six players found their way onto the scoresheet as the Blacks delivered a commanding display in their first meeting with Derry Hill United. The Colts did well to find space on a tight pitch but quickly hit their stride playing up the slope in the first half. Toby opened his account for the club in superb style with a fierce angled drive and ended a memorable day with four fine goals to his name. Bradley and Max also added to their impressive tallies for the season with neat finishes after good build-up play. Luke had his first outing as a striker in the second half and gleefully tucked away a double, while George did likewise in an energetic midfield performance. Matthew R showed his determination to make up for a missed penalty with a well-taken late hat-trick and Daniel nearly managed to score with a booming goal kick down the hill. Josh supported the attack well and also made some great tackles. |
