A depleted squad took the field on a wonderful hazy morning at club HQ. They were asked to step up to the plate and (the first 4 minutes aside) they did that admirably.

10 seconds - 1-0 down from the kick off. 3 mins later with our lads still seemingly asleep - we were 2-0 down. Most normal teams would have folded at this stage - but this lot arent normal (!).

Louie put in a man of the match performance looking strong, dangerous and purposeful. This was matched by Josh W - who also had the time and energy to lash in a stunning goal. We were back in it and starting to play the superior football. Our opponents were still dangerous and Archie had to make 2 or 3 world class saves. Toby, Jayden and Joe tackled everything that moved. Joseph put in another great performance showing an increasing inclination to dig into tackles whilst Zac provided evidence that he can control a game as well as anyone whilst prowling the central midfield area.
