In a very even game it took two 'worldies' from our hosts to see off the CCCFC challenge - Archie was given no chance as they both whistled into the same top corner.

Zac kept a clean sheet in the first half which the stripes edged both in terms of possession and chances. Unfortunately the Calne keeper was in equally good form.

Joe and Jayden kept us very secure at the back the whole game and jousted for the man of the match award - the latter narrowly coming out on top. The midfield battled manfully (Kinger, Galesy, Joseph, Zac and Tom) without passing the ball in our customary way. Too much dribbling, too many long balls kept surrendering posession and gives the coach lots to work on. We also need to set up the team so that our strikers recieve more support - Archie and Louie looked dangerous and worked hard but needed someone up there with them - another one for the coach.

What needs no work however is the work ethic and the way we took the physical battle to our opponents - Will, Josh, Zac and Louie in particular all winning their indidual battles. The goal from Josh direct from a corner was welcome but scant reward for a great performance. Well done guys.
