Corsham Falcons were the visitors for the final home game of the season. The colts made their best start for a few weeks but couldn't find the net and it was Corsham who opened the scoring with a goal direct from a corner that somehow managed to trickle over the line, soon afterwards they added a 2nd, Eddie reduced the deficit with a fine finish after a good through ball from Matthew, shortly afterwards the colts were awarded a fortunate penalty after a Corsham defender handled the ball. Dan took a confident penalty, but the keeper was equal to it with an excellent save. 2-1 at half time. We were hoping for a fast start to the 2nd half, but it didn't happen and for the first 20mins the colts were at their charitable best allowing Corsham to score a further 4 goals, the guys did finish quite well and scored a 2nd goal after a great header from Joshua B was blocked and Joseph poked the rebound into the net.
