The lads came back to form in a great display of passing progressive football on a beautiful autumn morning at HQ. We hit the woodwork at least 10 times in a dominant showing, including one bizarre attack in which we smacked the bar (or a post) 3x in as many seconds.

Nick and Tom both kept cleansheets and also put in their best performances of the season when they went onto the pitch. Jay, Toby and Joe kept things tight at the back and started many attacks. Zac and JJ were dangerous on the flanks, supplying the strikers. Rory and Archie were energetic and finished their goals clinically when the chances were created. One particular move, mainly involving Zac and Archie was astounding in quality. You could tell the guys were enjoying themselves.

A word for our opponents who were weakened by injuries - well done for keeping going, you were a credit to your club.

Man of the Match - so many good performances, I was struggling to split the guys.....until Tom made an excellent save from a penalty. Well done Tom.
