U12 Bath City 3 CCCFC 6 Print
Season 12/13 - Under 12

Another game where we made things more difficult than they should have been. Bath scored in the first minute this is becoming a habit !! Charlie scored a fine equaliser with a good finish over the keeper. Matthew was a constant threat and deservedly scored the 2nd, although the dubious goals panel might have other ideas as his shot took a deflection on its way into the goal. Our continued sloppy defending and inability to clear our lines allowed Bath an equaliser despite the best efforts of Jasper in goal. Eddie chased a long ball and got to it before the defender and played a great ball across the box that Jamie reacted to first to score at the 2nd attempt after a fine save by the keeper. Joe D was very unlucky not to score after his shot struck the post. Eddie notched the 4th with a fine volleyed finish after more good work from Matthew. 2-4 at half time.

The colts started the 2nd half still in their charitable mood as they gifted Bath a third goal, fortunately we were very good going forward today and it wasn't long before goal 5 came via Eddie's right boot when his shot from 20yds arrowed into the top left corner. James got goal 6 after a fine individual run and shot from a tight angle. A good 3pts. We played some very good attacking football today, however we have plenty to work on with our defending.

Man of the match - Matthew - terrific wing play.

Next game: Melksham Hurricanes in the league cup at home 25/11/12
