Today it all seemed to come together. Passing, dribbling, determination, shooting, tackling - IT WAS ALL THERE!

It was a very close game in terms of possession but we seemed to know what to do with our possession a little more. We had several chances before Archie converted from close range, the goal coming after a marvellous sweeping move started by Toby and ending with JJ crossing the ball perfectly.

Everyone seemed to have a bit more running about them and a bit more power - Archie especially looked fitter - the end result being that the ball never came into our box as much as in recent games. Joe and Jayden provided the platform for the win with typically energetic, combatative performances - Toby and Tom were strong when called upon. Remember though guys to look over your shoulders and mark the forwards - not all rush towards the ball! With Zac, Rory and JJ carrying and supplying the ball constantly - we would have been a match for most teams today.

In the second half - the amount of goalmouth incident dropped (to sooth the coaches nerves a little!) but Nick was able to poke home a goal with his first touch after coming on and Arch  was able to match Nicks feat of keeping a clean sheet enabling  us to snatch our first league win of the season. It wont be the last if we continue to play like that.
