Season 12/13 - Under 10 Black & White

A very spirited display. If we continue to improve in every aspect of the game week after week, I promise you the results will come.

You can always gauge the standard of our football by listening to the opposition manager after a game. This time he was astounded by the quality of our goal keeping. So huge praise to Josh and Henry.

The first half was devoid of any goals, both teams had chances, but i felt we were the better side, and extremely unlucky to go in 0-0.
We lost a player at half timein The second half, with our 6 players against their 7, it was +  inevitable we would let a goal in. After they went 2-0 up, and the game all but gone. The sides were evened up 6v6. Again for that period it was 0-0, and once again we had several chances go begging. Special mention must go to Dante who made a superb effort of a chip over both defender and keeper only to go inches wide, it would have been the goal of the season and most other seasons.

In defence Ben was as good as ever cutting out passes, Jude is really finding his feet now after so many games in goal. He can tackle hard and reads the game well. Dante and Dan were again plaiyng well off each other, their passing off the ball up field is getting so much better. Joe did some really hard work both in defence and attack, real 100% effort there. Josh and Henry swapping positions at half time. We have two top goal keepers for this league, and both equally adept in either defence or mid field.
Real shame we did not get anything out of this game. Our team spirit has come on so much, we look more and more each week like a football team that knows how to play good intelligent football. 3 games to Christmas... lets make them special.
My man of the match goes to Josh Goodall, YES you are that good.
