This wasnt great.

Our opponents were strong, and they ended our cup run today - I am not sure they had to get out of 3rd gear.

There were issues with the pitch and other things but....they were the same for both teams. It wasnt all bad - Tom played really well in defence and in goal. Zac deserves a special mention for copping a bad injury when an opponent accidentally stamped on his hand - but coming back on and getting on with it. A couple of months ago that would have been Zac out of the game.

Our opponents were strong physically but that wasnt the problem - we coped with that. The issue was we kept on giving them the ball - time after time. From goal kicks, throw ins, open play....every where! Our passing has always been a strong point - today we seemed to want to dribble until we lose it, or give it away with a pass anyway. Plenty to work on coach - but we do know that the ability, the character and the intelligence is there - so we should see us back to our old selves again soon. We have after all been playing really well in the last month or so. Keep your heads up
