Season 12/13 - Under 12

The colts came across a good and well organised Westbury team today, easy to see why they are still unbeaten. The first 20mins were quite close with chances at both ends, but it was Westbury who took the lead. They soon added 2 more and were looking very comfortable. Just before the stroke of half time we gave ourselves a chance when Charlie battled well and was able to score with a fine left foot shot. 3-1

The 2nd half was more of the same, we were giving Westbury too much time and never really got our tackles in. The score was soon 4-1, we showed some character and played nice 1 touch football that created a couple of chances, 1 of which Jacob took very well 4-2, however Westbury added 2 more goals without reply, this was disappointing as we had got ourselves back into the game only to throw it away again. A disappointing performance this morning we can't rely on the same 3 or 4 players every week, everybody must take responsibility and work a lot harder for the team.

Man of the match - Jacob - Terrific display
