This was an absolutely fantastic performance from the squad after we held a team discussion on what it actually means to be a team. It means looking after your mate, supporting him and not moaning if mistakes are made. This spirit was very evident today as we went up against our talented opponents for the second time in a week.

If we had brought our shooting boots we would surely have clinched an even better result as JJ, Jayden, Rory, Archie, Tom and Zac all had very decent chances.There was only one alarm at the back in the second half as all the people who played at the back (Archie, Tom, Jay, Toby, David) had absolute blinders. Zac and JJ gave us width - Zac in particular worked like a trojan - and Rory had another good game. It shows that youre growing up when you hear a request from your coach (or teacher, or parent!) take that on board and put it into action immediately as you all did today. You should be very proud of yourselves - I know your parents are, as some of them have told me so.

Lets keep that up in the next few games - and get a goal when we deserve it. A goal for the team is a goal for you all. How do I work out a MOM from that today - honourable mentions go to all of you but for sheer workrate Zac clinches it. Well done all of you.
