U9 Division 1: Bradford Town Panthers 1 CCCFC Whites 1 Print
Season 12/13 - Under 9 Black & White

The Whites drew for the third successive weekend as they failed to capitalise on a fast start at a sunny Bradford on Avon RFC.
Goalscoring has proved the Colts’ Achilles heel since earning their place in Division 1 but they opened their account inside two minutes against a team who had claimed the scalp of Trowbridge Lions a week earlier.
Bradley did well to hold the ball up in the right channel and teed up Tom for a good finish.
Tom went close to doubling his and the visitors’ tally soon afterwards following excellent work by Toby on the left and Matthew always looked threatening when in possession as the Colts seized the initiative.
However, they let it slip in the closing minutes of the half and a neat and tidy Bradford side cashed in on a mix-up at the back to equalise after Max had made a fine initial save.
A nip-and-tuck second half tested the nerves of both sets of supporters but neither keeper was overworked, with Josh both claiming a clean sheet and distributing the ball sensibly after taking the gloves at the interval.
The new-look defensive pairing of Bradley and Max protected him well, with the latter making one tremendous block with his chest.
In front of them, Luke was as solid as ever in the engine room, while George and Brandon worked hard to try and break down a reorganised and more resolute Bradford rearguard.
