We used a a big squad today from both squads - in our introduction to 9v9/Big Pitch/Offside etc. Lots to think about/remember! Our friends from Chippenham were veterans in this format having played a game last week! The lads had to get used to all the space and the extra energy and discipline required in this form of football. they did really really well u8ntil a bit of fatigue kicked in at the end of the game.

David and Jayden shone through - always winning their battles and using the ball at the correct time. Tom, Zac and Archie had fine games but special praise must go to Toby, Darryl, Felix, Joe P and JJ who all showed that this new form of football is going to suit them just fine. Henry, Nick, Rory, Dan W also showed they are quick learners, putting in fine performances. Really well done guys.

We were unfortunate today not to trouble the scorer - Zac crashed once against the post and Archie and jayden had chances that they would normally bury.

Thanks to the parents for running the line, putting nets up etc - you did me proud too
