WHITES - We got off to our traditional slow start against a team of ex Combe players and lost 3-0 in our opening game against Calne Milan. Calne finished 4th one place above us.

It never got any easier as we played the eventual winners Salisbury City next, who seemed to have Theo Walcotts quicker brother up front! 4-0

Dilton (who came 3rd) next - we started getting in to it - after conceding 2 early goals we absolutely dominated and got back a good goal through Nick. We came close 2 or 3 more times but couldnt get the equaliser we deserved

We played two warminster teams next and in two very sporting encounters. We won 1-0 in the first game with a cracking goal from Tom and then - in the second - had 52 chances without actually looking like we were going to score (0-0). In the last game we played a very good Frome tn (runners up) outfit and lost 2-1 (Archie scoring from his own half).

So - a bit of a struggle, I am just so glad though that we did it with such a great bunch of parents and players - thank you all. Everone seemed to be 5 or 10% below par today - but the man of the tournament wasnt. It was between Tom and David - I have to give it to David.

BLACKS - Rory scored three goals in the early games and Toby made the crowd explode when notching as they turned in a similar record to the whites. Joe scored a great goal, whilst  Josh P, Darryl, Alex and Henry were superb in keeping the oppo out. MOT goes to Josh Peck
