Congratulations to CCCFC U9s Whites players Max Pearce, Toby Bridgeman-Daw and Matthew Robinson, who have all been selected for the 2013-14 Bath & Wiltshire Boys squad.

The squad - backed by the English Schools' Football Association - is made up of the best U10 and U11 players in the district and the standard is exceptionally high. The trio earned their places after impressing at two sets of trials in Chilcompton and can now look forward to a high-quality weekly coaching programme, matches against academy and representative teams from across the country and exciting trips abroad to places like Germany, Holland and Scandanavia.

Tim Kirk, who runs BWB, says that it is highly unusual for three players from the same club to win places in his squad in the same season so this is a truly outstanding feat. They have really put CCCFC on the map.

Everyone connected with the age group is extremely proud of the three lads, all of whom have been in brilliant form for the Whites all season, and look forward to hearing about this new and exciting chapter in their football careers.
