Fantastic performance from a new team in getting a draw with Derry Hill in a really exciting game- some of the players were playing their first ever game!!!!

Respect to Ben Lawton and Josh Weston who acquitted themselves exceptionally well snuffing out attack after attack with help from the more experienced Alex. Dante looked impassable in goal whilst Ben C, Jude, Josh P, Daryl & Joe took a stranglehold on the midfield whilst Nick provided a great target man. The performance would lead you to believe that the Blacks have a great season ahead of them after last years struggle  - but we need everyone to turn up every week and also get a couple more players to ensure these players have the chance of having the successful season which they deserve.

Nick scored an awesome goal which was a cert for goal of the match until Joes 20 yard free kick went in. Bens scrambled effort was not as pretty but just as important.
