The result doesnt seem too bad - until you examine exactly how the game went! The lads must take massive credit for dragging themselves out of a first half torpor - and winning the second half 2-1, but that first half was the worst Ive ever seen us play! To add to the frustration - the goals conceded were VERY avoidable (including two own goals!) so we genuinely could have got something out of the game. There is a large gap now until our next league game - work to do during training and some friendlies I think.

Jayden put in a real captains shift that gained him the man of the match tag as well as the last goal of the game. Archie got the other goal and also tried hard. Joe and Felix also stepped up to the plate. The fitness was better - proved by coming on strong late in the game so that leaves us a  few specific things to work on:

Interceptions & clearing the ball - taking responsibility

Getting your head up and using the ball - so that we retain posession

Not giving the ball away from restarts - goalkicks etc went to a blue shirt 100% of the time - that cannot happen.
