The guys put in a very strong display at Worton. Alex P made his debut and quickly displayed his quick feet and pace - he will do nicely!

Exceptional performances from Joe, Felix, Tom C, Toby and Tom B-S gave us a real platform to dominate posession and create chance after chance. Max, JJ and Alex dominated posession in midfield wheras Jay and Archie also worked real hard up front.

Felix, Tom C and Toby had time to play a half for Worton - Toby nearly scored for them, Felix nearly did the same in his own net (good work!) and all 3 did a very fine job which was commented on by thier manager. 

Alex took advantage of a defensive mix up early on to open the scoring - we then conceded a 'contraversial' penalty which pegged us back to one-one. Our skipper was able to notch with a volley to round off the scoring in the first half - well done Jayden. Alex and Jay were then able to double their tallys in the second half. As people got tired and our positional discipline withered - at one stage we were playing a 3-0-5 formation - it was good to see moments like JJ knocking a great corner and Archie heading it superbly but having to watch it climb over the bar. Matters were concluded when Felix scored his debut goal, a beautiful lob over the keeper from 18 yards out. Take a bow Felix!

Good in defence - loads of chances - well done boys. Bigger tests lie ahead so take confidence from this and move on
