The colts made the long journey to unbeaten league leaders Amesbury this afternoon.

It looked as though it was going to be a very tough afternoon as we found ourselves 3-0 behind after only 15mins, all 3 goals coming in a crazy 5min spell. The guys dug deep and didn't let their heads drop, a long ball over the top allowed Eddie to chase and put their defender under pressure, as Eddie was rapidly closing in on the defender he panicked a little and put the ball into his own net. 3-1 at half time.

All the players pulled together to put in a really determined 2nd half performance and some of the football played was really pleasing particularly involving James, Matthew & Eddie. Amesbury nicked a 4th, but straight from the kick off we scored the goal of the game, Tom L played a terrific pass for Dan to run onto and unleash an unstoppable shot from 25yds to give their keeper no chance, in the closing minutes the colts continued to press forward looking for more goals, whilst the defence of Jake, Tom T, Alex, Charlie, Warwick & Jasper did their utmost to keep Amesbury at bay.
