We had a really strong squad out today and conditions were perfect - there were no excuses for a really lacklustre performance

The start was good - we played progressive football continuously until Archie slotted the ball home with his left foot - YES - LEFT FOOT! It was all very light hearted as the players seemed to expect the goals to flow. This is one personality trait we have to eradicate if we are to become the good team we have the potential to be. We went into kickabout mode and wasted chance after chance. We dont seem to value the importance of each chance and take sufficient care to finish it. If it wasnt for the vigilance of Tom C and Felix we may have conceded earlier - that actually may have dome us some good by waking us up! Instead we conceded an equaliser 3 minutes from the end which didnt give us enough time to recover.

As well as Felix and Tom having great games, Alex and JJ worked hard in midfield but just about everyone else had an off day. Its very frustrating for such a talented bunch to be playing under par. Lets go again next week
