We played a friendly today as a school tournament deprived us of some players. Joe and Darryl joined us from the Blacks and were absolutely superb - both were very close to winnning the man of the match award.

We also had a couple of guests both of which will prove very very good additions if they decide to sign on. Angus helped himself to a hat-trick of close in goals (if you added the yardage together of all 3 you might reach.....1!). Both players were superb and popular additions to the group.

We only had 9 players so the guys started to fade a little in the second half - but they started the game like a house on fire! JJ, Felix and Alex took a vice like grip on the midfield. Josh also had time to grab two goals and the man of the match trophy! Ben ran the left hand side and grabbed the sixth goal in the dying moments. Archie played well in the midfield screen position and showed his willingness to work for the team when, in the dying moments, he chased a 'lost cause' - kept the ball in and crossed the ball for his mate Angus to snatch his hattrick goal.
