A tale of two halves,

I think it’s fair to say it took us a while to get going today, with a few of the lads playing out of position and a couple of mistakes we found ourselves 2-0 down at the break. The wizards then scored another with a great shot to put them 3-0 up just after the re start.

A team of less committed lads may have given up at this point, but the whole team started to play some fantastic football and most of all want the ball more than the opposition. It wasn’t long before our continued pressure paid off, an own goal followed buy a great run and drive from Rory made it 3-2,  Joe then levelled things up thanks to some great effort from Louis and Ben L.

Nick, Alfie, Ben L, Jude, Daryl, Louis, Ben C, Joe, Rory, Alex, you all showed great character today.  That’s the best half of football you have played this year, thank you. The only thing we could improve on is to play the first half in the same manner…..

Man of the match Nick for some great saves and vision whilst in goal for the second half
