U11 CCCFC White 2 Westbury Spitfires 0 Print
Season 13/14 - Under 11 White

This really felt like a milestone for this squad - with so many new players joining this year - they finally seemed to turn into a proper TEAM.

Our guests were more than capable, having matching our results largely win for win, and were to provide a really stern test.

It wasnt perfect, but the coach didnt feel the need to panic at any stage. Our improvement in passing was evident to see as Westbury tried to keep up with us. I really enjoyed watching the game! Alex, Jayden, Louie and  Ben had really good chances to score.

In the second half Max took over in goal and kept the sheet clean, Archie came out on pitch and slammed in an opener as things livened up. Louie soon followed up with an identical goal - these strikes saw us to the win without any real scares. The reason there were few scares was down to people like joe and felix who were faultless -ably assisted by Angus and Jayden etc. Alex was absolutely everywhere in another great display.

Tough game - but one in which we improved our reputation. No going backwards now. You all played great.

Our skipper for the day Louie chose MAX as Man of The Match for 'going in goal, keeping a clean sheet and playing a great game'. Well deserved. Max is now skipper next week and will choose the MOM.

Player of the MONTH - our 3 new players have added a depth to the squad which is really good to see. Angus has had his hat-trick, Louie has had his MOM award so im going for Ted - well done Ted.

Well done all - Cheers
