The guys deservedly clinched a second place gong by earning a draw at Westbury. Westbury pushed us all the way and may well end up with medals of their own but by any measure you use - goal difference, head to head or plain old alphabetical order - they will not be able to climb above us.

This was a great match played in a really good spirit - our opening goal came from a penalty which should not really have been given. Our competitive striker Archie even said so (!) to the ref, but he was insistent. Archies generosity didnt extend to deliberately missing the penalty a la Robbie Fowler though, and he literally smashed the ball into the roof of the net. This meant that he has scored in every league game apart from mere away and helped him get the MOM award from todays skipper angus.

We then went on to dominate the number of chances created - but could not get that second. Westbury snatched an equaliser - not unjustly as they were always dangerous - to share the spoils, with a great header from a corner and everyone went home happy. Well done guys - your second medal already in mid wilts league. Take a bow
