The colts maintained their unbeaten start to the new season with a hard fought draw against a well organised Ferndale team.

The colts scored first on 6mins after Eddie played a ball through to Jamie who's first touch was superb as it took him past his marker before brilliantly shooting over the advancing keeper. The game flowed from end to end as both sides played some excellent football, we rode our luck at times and needed Jasper to make a couple of decent saves to keep the lead, James went close to extending our lead with a good headed attempt, but the keeper was equal to it. With only 4mins of the first half remaining Ferndale scored their goal when a shot from outside the box took a wicked deflection past Jasper. 1-1 at half time.

The 2nd half carried on in the same vain as the first as both sides tried their upmost to take all the points, chances came and went, therefore the score remained unchanged and the end result was probably the correct one. Another good committed performance from everyone let's continue this into next weeks cup game.
