This was a better performance than last week - simply by virtue of the fact that we kept a clean sheet! We stayed a little more disciplined but continued moving people around to both test them and keep the score at a reasonable level.  Once again the lads were respectful of our opposition who kept on playing right to the end and (with the exception of some bad language) did themeselves proud.

When we pass the ball - moving it quickly and diagonally getting it behind their defence in wide areas, we look a very very dangerous team. Langy started dictating play from the start and, aided by some clinical finishing from Archie and Max as well as himself, we began to take a vice like grip on things. Archies opener was a soaring header from Teds corner. All the other goals were well worked standard fare until midway through the first half when Toby found himself played in to the right hand side of the goal. Cross it - everyone shouted but Toby had other ideas and curled in a beautiful shot between the keeper and his near post. The crowd and our team went berserk to celebrate this rare feat for Tobes! We thought the excitement was over but it wasnt! Jayden cracked a 25 yard half volley in as a daisy cutter which was equally well recieved and clinched him the MOM mantle.
