NWL U11 Cup: CCCFC Whites 11 Ramsbury Whites 0 Print
Season 14/15 - Under 11 White

Six players got their names on the scoresheet as the Whites cruised into the North Wilts League Cup quarter-finals at the expense of a game Ramsbury side.
The outcome was seldom in doubt once the Division 2 visitors’ initial resistance was broken by Callum’s searching cross from the right, which found its way into the net via the far post.
Matthew then forced home Bradley’s free-kick and both he and George won and converted penalties before the first half came to a close, while good pressure from Luke VDB led to an own goal.
Max was replaced between the posts by Matthew after the break and both finished the match with clean sheets to their name.
Callum added his second of the morning and Tom – free from his defensive duties – ran riot on the right flank and helped himself to a popular hat-trick. Bradley produced a confident finish after finding space through the middle and Max rounded off the scoring following a number of near-misses.
Toby was desperately unlucky not to add his name to the list of scorers with a long-range effort that hit the underside of the bar and Luke went close on a number of occasions after creating numerous opportunities from midfield.
Brandon H was confident in possession and really shone at right-back, with Brandon M producing an energetic display at both ends of the field.
The hosts passed the ball well at times, particularly in the first half, but will certainly need to negotiate tougher tests if they are to take further steps towards an appearance in the final at the County Ground next spring.
